Number Challenge

1.	Use the given numbers and the allowed operations to create a mathematical expression that is as close as possible to the target number.
2.	The operations that are allowed are... addition: +         subtraction: - multiplication: *   division: / exponents: ^        grouping: ()
3.	All given numbers must be used exactly once, in any order.
4.	Given numbers may not be concatenated.  (9 and 7 may not become 97.)
5.	Entries must be submitted by the posted deadline. You may submit as many entries as you wish.
6.	The valid entry that is closest to the target number wins!
7.	If there are two or more entries that are an equal distance from the target number, the entry submitted earliest will take precedence.
8.	All entries must include your name (real or alias), the contest number, and a correctly formatted mathematical expression.
